Heya Slingers!
Sorry about that delay in programming...
But it WAS my Birthday,
No Foolin!
And I Did make my own cake...
I just had no time to photograph and Blog
before I ate the entire thing!
Okay I shared 'Some' with friends!
This week I'm keeping it simple as it's
too HOT to bake!
So I'm slinging some refreshing
handmade Lemonade

One of the things I absolutely LOVE about living in Mallorca
is the abundance of Lemon tree's!
We always have friends who need a hand containing them
and I'm always ready to oblige!
Last week we took in 3 Very large Eco bags full
Yummmm...
I see a few lemon recipes coming up!
For now just a few tips on what the heck to do with them!
First get, borrow or steal an electric juicer
then get squeezing.
I use a funnel and put the juice into Cubito bags
(that's those funky ice cube bags (you could use trays too)
You can also grate the rinds before juicing and freeze
Cut a few (or 20) lemons into thin slices and place in a freezer bag.
Now put the whole lot into the freezer and wait for a nice hot day!
You can use your cubes in cooking and baking and the slices for
decoration, as Ice cubes in a pitcher or on Fish..etc
Now for the Lemonade...
add a couple cubes to water and a few drops of Splenda
or make your own sugar water.
Just fill a water bottle with 1/2 sugar and 1/2 boiling water
dissolve and cool!
Keep (labeled) in your fridge
Add to lemon water as you like!
Easy peasy Lemon squeezy!
